How it works

Intelligent video analytics using artificial Intelligence, native camera capabilities and virtual beams.
Nanosense connects to a wide range of camera brands- so there is no need to replace current cameras. Nanosense’ AI software runs on lowcost edge computers as well as the cloud that analyses the video image (footage) it is receiving to identify any predefined object and deliver real-time alerts. This allows you to say goodbye to motion detection that causes false alarms triggered by animals, bad weather, and foliage. As Nanosense will only send an alarm when it has a degree of positivity that the image contains the predefined object. Or the object has crossed a virtual beam placed by the user.

Detection of user defined objects and/or events
The user can determine exactly what they want to be notified of. Adding to the flexibility Nanosense contains a vast list of objects to choose from, and the user can choose multiple objects per camera. Nanosense also 0makes use of more powerful AI models that can be run in the cloud as a second step in video image analysis. This can include body posture analysis, weapon detection, object tracking, and more. Even with this second step, we can still deliver an alert in near realtime.

Integration of smart sensors, switches, network peripherals and other IoT devices with cameras, to build user specific automations
Nanosense is far more than video analytics and notification platform. With Nanosense the possibilities of automation are endless. Internet of Things integration with smart devices/sensors can be created to obtain inputs from the environment or to influence an environment. For example, a smoke detector can trigger a camera in the same area to send a snapshot or video clip to your phone or control room to verify if a fire has started OR a camera that detects an intruder can activate a light, siren or play a prerecorded sound on a speaker to deter the intruder. These are but a few simple examples of the infinite possibilities.
